Dénes studied architecture and urban design and graduated with a German-French diploma from TU Dresden and ENSA Strasburg. Dénes is responsible for the design and the product urban imple-mentation. He gained profound experience in Germany, e.g. working as the Chair of the Institute of Building Climatology TU Dresden and abroad, working for Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW) in France. During his time in Paris he recognized the huge market potential for urban air purification systems and wrote his final diploma thesis exactly on that topic - the beginning of the idea of the CityTree. In 2016 Dénes has been listed as one of the “30 under 30” Social Entrepreneurs in Europe of Forbes Magazine.
Peter graduated from the Dresden University of Applied Science with majors in production and company management with a specialization in horticulture. He has gained extensive knowledge regarding the vertical revegetation, innovative farming methods, vertical planting systems, biofil-tering and moss cultures during his work with the university’s research team. In addition to the plants, the focus of his studies was economics, finance and business management. He is responsi-ble for the right usage of biological components in the CityTree, their delivery all over the world and the daily accounting.
Zhengliang studied media information technology at the Technical University of Dresden and business administration at the Bayreuth University in Germany. Working in Europe and China, he gained deep understanding of both markets and cultures thanks to his Sino-German bilinguality. His focus area is the development of smart IT infrastructures to pave a way for climate networks with the CityTree. As an additional service he can also develop digital media concepts that can be used by companies as advertisement.
