Real Estate Innovation Network presents: The First PropTech Contest in India powered by BWT India

India is poised to become the leading emerging PropTech destination as it offers the perfect breeding ground for innovation in the PropTech industry: a large and wealthy real estate sector, mega cities on the rise, a growing middle class, vibrant tech hubs and an established VC scene. On top, India builds on a progressive government whose drive for transparency could favour those with disruptive technologies over legacy relationships. With this promising setting, Real Estate Innovation Network is more than excited to explore the Indian market for future collaborations.

The Real Estate Innovation Network is founded by European industry leaders to foster collaboration and innovation for the Built World. We combine the best of two worlds by translating “startup” into “corporate” and leveraging powerful synergies between our industry. Our Mission is to connect cross-disciplinary experts to engage and drive innovation, shaping the built world of tomorrow. Together, we will accelerate the digital transformation of the real estate industry.

We support the most promising startups by providing exposure and access to our industry. We support the growth of the whole PropTech ecosystem and promote the companies to a global audience. We connect startups to industry leaders for a proof of concept (PoC), shape their business model and provide access to promising business cases.

The Real Estate Innovation Network identified around 150 promising startups, which is still not very much compared to other countries, but – comparable to the US and China – the interesting thing about India is that startups can reach significant scale by focusing only on their domestic market.

For the unique chance to pitch in front of the audience at the BWT India conference, we received more than 50 applications and selected the best 6 startups.

The 6 semi-finalists are:

  • Adappt Intelligence
  • Cosine Labs
  • CRE Matrix
  • Facilio
  • Smarten Spaces
  • Snaptrude

Adappt Intelligence bridges the gap between people and spaces. They believe spaces must adapt to the way people work and do this through the use of sensor technology, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.

Cosine Labs is an IOT company focused on creating smart spaces and ensure an elevated living experience. Their product combines artificial intelligence and device integration to provide a smart living experience and can be applied across multiple sectors, such as homes, commercial spaces, and retail.

CRE Matrix collects data from a variety of sources including primary field research and government bodies to enable their clients to make prudent investment choices, smarter broking, correct sale and purchase, and appropriate valuation decisions.

Facilio is an IoT-driven facilities optimisation software that helps the client achieve operational efficiency and sustainability. The product helps facilities move away from being simply reactive to predictively run building operations.

Smarten Spaces uses a state-of-the-art AI and IoT platform that provides enterprises with the ability to offer next-generation spaces that will improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance convenience for end users. They enhance performance and optimize costs by improving experiences and efficiency.

Snaptrude is a smart design tool for architecture which can directly convert hand drawn sketchs of a floorplan to a 3D BIM (Building Information Model) with just a few clicks. With Snaptrude architects and design team would be able to save weeks’ worth of manual efforts.
